A beautiful antique Ball Perfect Mason 1/2-gallon canning jar in that wonderful old aqua-blue glass collectors love.

The front is boldly embossed with the classic script “Ball” above “PERFECT MASON,” and the jar has beautifully rounded shoulders and a rich aqua color that becomes especially deep toward the heavy glass base.

The glass is full of the character that makes these early jars so appealing—subtle waviness, bubbles and variations in the glass that catch and distort the light beautifully.

The bottom is embossed with a #2 mold number. Mold numbers identified the mold used during manufacture and should not be confused with a production date.
