Beautiful antique Ball Perfect Mason pint canning jar in gorgeous aqua/blue-green glass, complete with a vintage PRESTO closure and glass insert.

This little pint has so much character! The front is embossed with the classic script “Ball” above “PERFECT MASON,” while the base carries the embossed #5 mold number. The glass has that wonderful old aqua coloration collectors love, along with the subtle irregularities and character expected in early machine-made glass.

What really makes this one special is its complete PRESTO lid assembly. The metal screw band retains its glass insert, which has molded lettering around the perimeter and the number 186 in the center. I especially love that you’ve photographed both sides of the insert—the markings are part of the history and absolutely worth showing.

The jar displays beautifully both with and without its lid, and the smaller pint size makes it especially charming grouped with other antique Ball jars.
