A beautiful natural Heulandite crystal specimen from the volcanic regions of India, featuring a sparkling blanket of delicate peach, blush and champagne-toned crystals across the face.

The surface is densely covered with hundreds of small, highly reflective Heulandite crystals, creating wonderful sparkle as the specimen is moved through the light. Subtle variations from nearly colorless to warm peach give the piece remarkable depth and texture.

What makes this specimen especially interesting is the sliced reverse side, which exposes the dark volcanic host rock beneath the crystal cavity. Scattered throughout the matrix are striking blue-green to turquoise mineral formations that appear consistent with celadonite, a mineral commonly associated with the basalt cavities and zeolite deposits of India’s Deccan volcanic region.

Rather than hiding the matrix, the cut back gives you a fascinating look at the geology behind the crystal formation — almost like viewing a cross-section of the original volcanic cavity.
