Old-world winter charm, created upon a piece that already has a story. ❄️🌲

This one-of-a-kind Gray Day Relics creation began with a beautiful antique French breadboard, its wonderfully worn surface bearing the marks, patina and character acquired through years of use.

An abundant botanical wreath frames the original antique wood with layers of holly, leaves, berries, blossoms and large dimensional poinsettias. Everything was finished in a soft palette of weathered winter green and aged ivory, allowing the warm, timeworn wood of the French breadboard to remain an important part of the composition.
