Vintage Tatung Fine China Cup & Saucer Set | Taiwan Imari-Style Floral | Set of

A gorgeous vintage set of Tatung Fine China cups and saucers, featuring an elaborate Asian-inspired floral design in rich iron red, green, blue, orange and soft gold tones.

Each gently flared porcelain cup is surrounded by ornate floral reserves filled with stylized blossoms, scrolling foliage and delicate butterflies. Deep rust-red patterned borders provide a dramatic contrast against the creamy white porcelain, while fine gold detailing along the rims and decorative bands gives the pieces an especially elegant finish.

The coordinating saucers are just as beautiful, with alternating floral panels and richly patterned red sections encircling the center.

Turn the cups around and the design continues — one of my favorite things about this set. There really isn’t a “plain” side.

Vintage Tatung porcelain was produced in Taiwan and is increasingly appealing to collectors of vintage Asian porcelain, chinoiserie décor and colorful maximalist tableware.
